GREAT EVENTS PLANNED IN 2023
The 2023 Fairmont Raceway schedule has been finalized and some great events are in the mix. Join us May 5th as we open up our action packed season Featuring 5 weekly classes of USRA sanctioned race cars.
Returning events in 2023 will be the USRA Summer Shootout opening in Fairmont June 19th. The Tri State Late models will be in action with 2 dates in Fairmont this season June 16th and August 25th. Mn Corn growers have stepped up and sponsored our Salute Ag night June 28th. Wyffel's Hybrids will be sponsoring a cheeseburger for corn grower members in attendance. The 4th annual Bacon Town Showdown is set for August 14th. $4,000.00 to win $400.00 to start Stock Cars and $1,000 to win $150 to start Hobby stocks.
Area youth is the focus at the Fairmont Raceway. We look to give away 60 plus bikes to area youth in attendance on June 2nd, 250 plus backpacks on August 2nd, and $5,000 to area teachers on July 12th. To help support this event reach out to track staff.
New this year is our Make a Wish MN fundraiser. We look to raise $20,000.00 for the Make a Wish MN foundation. Will be accepting donations and sponsorship from area supporters to try and make 2 wishes come true for terminally ill children in the State MN. John and Shannon Furst have stepped up to help us organize and run this event. They also run the Make a Wish Event at the Mason City Motor Speedway.
