GRIFFITH BRINGS HOME THE BACON, HARTMAN 2ND, BUSSINGER 3RD

We closed out the 2024 season on Friday August 23rd and it was a great end to the season. Points races were closely contested in the USRA modifieds and the Tom Finke Excavating USRA Hobby Stocks. The modifieds ended in a tie, with the tie breaker coming down to the driver with most wins, The Hobby stocks finished out with a 1 point difference.

In conjunction with his Nutrien Ag USRA B-mod track points title Ty Griffith takes home the $500 from the Bringing home the Bacon award for having the most points out of all 5 classes. He will also get his Track points fund check matched. Coming in second was Brand Hartman, he brings home an extra $300.00 and Third place with a $200 payday was Gavin Bussinger.

This $1,000 points fund is funded by track sponsors. It is based on the total points accumulated over the season. The track management team is looking for sponsors to increase the points fund.

Chance Larson brought home his first Track Championship in the State Bank of Fairmont USRA Stock Cars and picked up his first ever Stock Car win this year. Cade Lehr brought home second in the stock cars and rookie driver Malayna Johnson brought home third and Luke Sathoff edges out the top 4.

Lyle Sathoff earned the USRA Modified Track Championship in a tie breaker between Cole Anderson. Tie breakers come down to most wins and continues to trend down in best finishing positions until someone is awarded the victor. Dustin Wiederhoeft brought home the 3rd place spot and Roger Nielsen in 4th.

Gavin Bussinger is your 2024 Tom Finke Excavating USRA Hobby Stock track Champion. He edges off Parker Anderson by 1 point. Jonathan Hynes holds the 3rd place title and Craig Fowler in 4th.

Klay Beemer drove his way to a 2nd place finish in points in the Nutrien Ag USRA B-mods, Jared Boumeester 3rd and Jayden Oskerson 4th.

Brandon Hartman found success in his full season back at the Fairmont Raceway in the USRA Tuners Bringing home the Track title with Slade Fitzgerald in 2nd, Dale Gatton in 3rd, and Ty Fitzgerald in 4th.

The Awards ceremony and 2025 season will be announced very soon. We will add the non sanctioned Crown Victoria class in 2025. The Raceway has purchased 2 crown vics to build and raffle off in the coming weeks. Rules have been posted so get your cars bought and built.
