PORK PRODUCERS SUPPORT FAIRMONT RACEWAY
The Martin County Pork Producers continue their support of the Fairmont Raceway as a victory lane sponsor. Their support and the support of many other great sponsors will solidify our success, says Track Manager Leah Gerhardt.
Friday Nights you can find Leah running the Registration shed prior to the races and then in the press box working to keep the show running smoothly. Her talents have not gone unnoticed as she just spent 3 days At Lucas Oil Speedway Assisting USMTS with King of America.
For 3 hours of weekly entertainment, 13-15 times a year it takes many hands. We have over 40 volunteers weekly to prepare your meal, prep the racetrack, keep you safe, and officiate the races. Many of these people go unnoticed by the drivers and the spectators, but they are here to make your evening enjoyable, says concessions manager Tami Gerhardt. She goes on to say, make sure to thank them for being involved. With out them we won't be able to keep the gates open and the lights on.
If all falls into place we will kick the season off Friday May 2nd with the Iron Man Stock Car Series. The Fairmont Raceway 4.6 Class will debut as well. Make plans to join us as all 6 classes Start the season and chase their respected Track Championship belt buckle.
