The Truman, MN location for C&B, our local Authorized John Deere dealer has renewed their Victory lane spot, became the naming partner of the party deck, and the main sponsor on our digital and print ads for the 2022 season. The payouts have been announced for the 2022 Frost Buster on Friday April 29th. Stock cars will be the star of the show with $1,200.00 being rewarded to first place. A mods can compete for $1,100.00 to win and B mods will have a $1,000.00 up for grabs. Increased hobby stock purse as well with $600.00 to the winner. Tonight's Frost Buster has been cancelled. While we have not received a lot of rain at the track the forecast for this afternoon is not looking favorable for track help, spectators, and Driver's. Currently the forecast has a 50% chance of rain all afternoon and 90% chance starting at 9pm, pair that with 25 MPH winds into the face of the spectators and it will not be an enjoyable evening. Wednesday night was the opener at Fairmont Raceway. Track management is calling it a win!. We had many new faces in the pits, more cars than opening night last year, and a great racing surface. State Bank of Fairmont has stepped up as the lead sponsor for our annual Kid's bike giveaway. So far we have 50 bikes bought that need sponsors and we would like to get to 100 bikes given away.
